Billy Pullen, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Billy Pullen grew up in the Chattanooga area and continued a family tradition by attending the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1996 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After leaving Athens, he completed a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey. He initially practiced general medicine but soon realized his true passion lay in solving the complex mysteries of internal medicine.

After completing two internships, Dr. Pullen practiced in both academic and private specialty settings. He later earned certification in extracorporeal therapy through the Hemodialysis Academy. His professional interests include gastrointestinal disease, autoimmune disorders, and critical care. In September 2016, Dr. Pullen founded Veterinary Care and Specialty Group with the goal of providing the highest level of medical care for pets.

Outside of work, Dr. Pullen enjoys spending time with his family.
