Billy Pullen, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Billy Pullen grew up in the Chattanooga area and continued a family tradition by attending the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1996 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After leaving Athens, he completed a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey. He initially practiced general medicine but soon realized his true passion lay in solving the complex mysteries of internal medicine.

After completing two internships, Dr. Pullen practiced in both academic and private specialty settings. His professional interests include gastrointestinal disease, autoimmune disorders, and critical care.

Dr. Pullen is married to Claudia, and they have two young sons, Luca and Connor. In September 2016, he founded Veterinary Care and Specialty Group with the goal of providing the highest level of medical care for pets.
